Abilene-to-Buffalo Gap Poker Rally
Saturday, November 14, 2026 - Round up your team, draw your cards, support camp.
Join a one-day charity rally from Abilene to Buffalo Gap Presbyterian Camp. Bring any street-legal vehicle - car, truck, motorcycle, van, even an 18-wheeler. Gather a team, stop at seven local sponsor businesses to draw cards for your poker hand, play a game or two along the way, and finish at camp for burgers, yard games, and awards.
No poker skill required - it's all the luck of the draw.
Every dollar teams and sponsors raise goes directly to camp: camper scholarships, safe and welcoming facilities, and year-round ministry for children and families across West Texas.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Register a team ($20 or more, which counts toward your team total), or sponsor the event.
2. Check in at First Central Presbyterian Church, Abilene, at 9:00 AM.
3. Roll out at 10:00 AM.
4. Draw a card at each of the seven sponsor stops.
5. Play the game at each stop and post your photos and videos on our Facebook event page. Bring at least one smartphone per team - you'll need it.
6. Finish at camp for hamburgers, cornhole, ladderball, Ga-Ga ball, and shade until the last team rolls in.
7. Hands are scored and prizes awarded.

THE DETAILS
• Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026
• Check-in: 9:00 AM, First Central Presbyterian Church, Abilene
• Rally starts: 10:00 AM
• Finish: Buffalo Gap Presbyterian Camp
• Registration: $20 or more, paid online on your team page or by check mailed to Buffalo Gap Presbyterian Ministries, Inc., 608 Litel St, Buffalo Gap, TX 79508 (team name in the memo). It counts toward your team total.
• When you register, your team gets its own team webpage and QR code for donations. Ask friends, family, and local businesses to sponsor your team.
• Each team aims for $50 (In the Game) or $150 or more (All In), raised online or brought to check-in.
• Lunch: All In teams, every team member gets lunch. In the Game teams get 2 lunches. Teams that raise less than $50 still ride; extra lunches are $10 each at camp.
• Any street-legal vehicle welcome. Multiple motorcycles can count as one team.
• 8 people per team, maximum
• Bring at least one smartphone per team
• Read the Rally Rules before you register.
