The Pavilion
* Built circa 1926
(until 1969 was the Kitchen / Dining and Meeting Hall)
* Stone Fireplace
* Men's and Women's Restrooms
* Sink w/ cold water in main room
* Picnic Tables (seats 100)
* Several refrigerators available for use.

Swimming Ool
* Built in 1985, INSIDE the Original Ool (which was built in 1925)
* 40 ft wide X 80 ft long (144,000 gallons)
* Depth from 3 to 5 ft, then 9 ft deep end
* Circular Slide and Low Diving Board
* Constant Circulation and Filtration
* 10 ft X 20ft X 2ft deep Wading Ool
* Lots of Shade

The Original Ool, circa late 1940's
* Built 1925, reportedly with mule teams and drag buckets, then cemented
* Was 55 ft wide and 100ft long w/ a 12ft deep end
*300,000+ gallons
* Had metal slides (you took a bucket of water with you up the ladder)
* Had a 12ft High Dive plus a lower diving board.
* Instead of continuous Circulation and Filtration, water was pumped from a hand-dug & rock-lined well into the shallow end, with an overflow at the deep end.
* Was always cold because of the well water.
* Had a "Kiddie-Pool" with a chainlink fence separating it from the main pool.

* The little guy having fun with his Mom in the photos below is Tom Bailey, who shared these photos with us.
(how about those swimming caps?)
