Rally Rules

YOUR TEAM AND VEHICLE

1. Any street-legal vehicle: car, truck, motorcycle, van, even an 18-wheeler. Multiple motorcycles can count as one team. 8 people per team, maximum, with everyone buckled in.

2. Whoever is driving needs a valid driver's license and insurance.

3. Obey all traffic laws and posted speed limits at all times.

4. Bring at least one smartphone per team. You'll need it for the games and for posting photos and videos.

CHECK-IN

1. Check-in starts at 9:00 AM at First Central Presbyterian Church, Abilene. The rally starts at 10:00 AM.

2. Registration is $20, and it counts toward your team total.

3. All of your team's money is due by check-in. That includes online gifts through your team's page, plus any cash or checks you bring. Your total at check-in sets your level:

• In the Game: $50, which comes with 2 lunches.

• All In: $150 or more, which comes with lunch for the whole team.

• Teams that raise less than $50 still ride; lunches are $10 each at camp.

4. Your captain picks up the team's route card and lunch tickets at check-in.

5. Everyone riding signs a waiver and photo release at check-in.

THE CARDS

1. Visit every card stop on your route card.

2. Draw one card at each stop. One poker hand per team.

3. Your hand is the best five-card poker hand you can make from your cards.

4. Keep your cards with your route card. No trading cards with other teams, and lost cards can't be replaced.

5. Play the game or activity at each stop, and post your photos and videos to the Facebook event page.

THE FINISH

1. Finish at Buffalo Gap Presbyterian Camp and turn in your hand when you arrive.

2. Hand your lunch tickets in at the grill: no ticket, no burger, so don't leave them in the car. Extra lunches are $10 each.

3. Tell us your final headcount by Thursday, November 12, so we know how many burgers to buy.

4. Enjoy cornhole, ladderball, Ga-Ga ball, and the shade until the last team arrives. Then hands are scored and prizes are awarded.

The top 3 fundraising teams also get special recognition and draw one extra card at camp, before scoring, to add to their hand.

Ties for Best and Worst Hand are broken by a high-card draw. The judges' decisions are final, and Team We'd Most Like to Ride With is judged entirely unscientifically.
