Ensuring Enjoyable Experiences

Located on the edge of beautiful Buffalo Gap, TX, the Camp is an oasis of ancient oak trees in West Texas, just 12 miles south of Abilene.

Buffalo Gap was settled at the site of a natural pass through which bison herds traveled, and it was a point on the Great Western Cattle Trail. The community has a few restaurants and art handicraft shops, and is the home of the Buffalo Gap Historic Village, a wonderful place to learn the history of the Texas frontier between 1875 and 1925. Nearby Perini's Steakhouse, Abilene State Park, and Lake Abilene are just some of the local attractions.

Buffalo Gap Presbyterian Camp was started in 1921 on a few acres along Elm Creek, and has since grown to cover 11 acres, including a 140,000-gallon swimming pool, 6 air-conditioned cabins, a dining hall (with commercial kitchen) that seats 130, sand volleyball, tennis / backetball courts, and several smaller buildings and activity facilities.
